Terms of Service
Last updated September 17, 2026
These terms cover the CrazeLabs desktop app, the website at bonelabcraze.com, and the mods that ship inside the app ("Craze mods"). We call all of that "CrazeLabs" below. CrazeLabs is made by SuperCatCraze ("we", "us"). By signing in or using CrazeLabs you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use it.
1. What CrazeLabs is
CrazeLabs is a free, fan-made tool for managing mods for BONELAB. It isn't made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Stress Level Zero, the developers of BONELAB. It also isn't affiliated with Valve, Meta, Thunderstore, mod.io, MelonLoader or Discord. Their names are only used to say what CrazeLabs works with, and their trademarks belong to them.
You need your own legal copy of BONELAB to use the parts of CrazeLabs that touch the game.
2. Accounts and access
- You sign in with Discord. You need to be old enough to use Discord where you live, and at least 13.
- CrazeLabs is in a closed beta. We decide who gets access and what role an account has, and we can change or take away access at any time, including if these terms are broken.
- Keep your account to yourself. Don't share it, sell it, or sign in as someone else.
- You can stop using CrazeLabs whenever you want. See the Privacy Policy for how to have your data deleted.
3. What you can't do
While using CrazeLabs, don't:
- copy, share, reupload or sell the Craze mods, or pull them out of the app;
- reverse engineer, decrypt or get around the launch checks on the Craze mods, or help someone else do it;
- use CrazeLabs to cheat, harass people, or break the rules of BONELAB, Steam, Meta, Thunderstore, mod.io or Discord;
- attack, overload or try to break into the website, the update service or anyone's account;
- use CrazeLabs for anything illegal where you live.
4. Craze mods
Craze mods, like Craze's Camera, belong to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable permission to use them through the CrazeLabs app while your account has access. That's the only permission: you don't own them, and the permission ends if your access does.
5. Other people's mods and services
Mods you find or install through CrazeLabs from Thunderstore, mod.io or anywhere else are made by other people. We don't make them, check them or control them, and they belong to their authors. Using them is between you, the mod's author and the site it came from, under that site's own terms:
Only install mods you trust. A mod can do anything a program on your computer can do.
6. Your game and your files
CrazeLabs moves, adds and removes files in your BONELAB folder and BONELAB's save data when you ask it to. It keeps a backup before it changes a save, but mistakes and bugs happen. Back up anything you care about. Modding a game can break it, and it can affect things like online play. That's a risk you take by modding.
7. No warranty
CrazeLabs is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise it will always work, be available, be free of bugs, or keep any feature.
8. Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, lost saves, a broken game install, or banned or suspended accounts on other services, that come from using CrazeLabs or mods installed with it. CrazeLabs is free, and our total liability for anything to do with it is limited to what you paid us for it, which is nothing. Some places don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you.
9. Copyright and takedowns
If you think something on the website or in CrazeLabs uses your work without permission, tell us in the CrazeLabs Discord with what it is, where it is, and how we can reach you, and we'll look into it and take it down if it's yours.
CrazeLabs doesn't host other people's mods. Mods shown from Thunderstore or mod.io come straight from those sites, so requests about them belong with those sites.
10. Changes
We may change these terms. When we do, we'll update the date at the top. If a change is a big one, we'll also say so in the app or the Discord. Using CrazeLabs after a change means you accept the new terms.
11. Credits
CrazeLabs is built with Electron and electron-updater (MIT License). It uses the Inter and Oxanium typefaces (SIL Open Font License 1.1). The CrazeLabs wordmark is lettering drawn from the Nasalization typeface by Typodermic Fonts, used as a fixed graphic. Mod listings, icons and READMEs come from Thunderstore and mod.io and belong to their authors.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms go to the CrazeLabs Discord.
